    Description

1/3 Scale Yokosuka MXY7 Ohka Kamikaze Plans,
    Templates
    and Instructions
You are bidding on a new set of plans for a 1/3 Scale Yokosuka MXY7 Ohka. It includes the plans and  templates/patterns for cutting the parts for this unusual and rare WW-II airplane. Building instructions are also included. Construction is balsa, foam, and ply. Designed as a glider, it can be towed like a glider, dropped from a larger plane (like the bomber that carried the real ones), or powered with an electric motor or rocket engines. Other plans are for sale too. I'll be listing them as I pull them out. This plan is in perfect condition. All of my items come from a totally smoke free environment.
    PLEASE NOTE:
ECONOMY SHIPPING = PLANS FOLDED AND SHIPPED IN A LARGE  ENVELOPE
EXPEDITED SHIPPING = PLANS ROLLED AND SHIPPED IN A TUBE - (RECOMMENDED)
    The
    Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka
was a purpose-built, rocket powered human-guided anti-shipping kamikaze attack plane employed by Japan towards the end of World War II. United States sailors gave the aircraft the nickname Baka
(Japanese for "fool" or "idiot"). The MXY-7 Navy Suicide Attacker Ohka was a manned flying bomb that was usually carried underneath a Mitsubishi G4M2e "Betty" Model 24J bomber to within range of its target; on release, the pilot would first glide towards the target and when close enough he would fire the Ohka's three solid-fuel rockets, one at a time or in unison, and fly the missile towards the ship that he intended to destroy.
