    Description

    Up for sale here is this set of 10 (ten) brand new Fairchild/Onsemi KSC1845 transistors.  These are genuine Fairchild/Onsemi transistors, and are invaluable for vintage electronics restoration.  They are great subs/replacements for a number of vintage transistors that can get noisy over the years.  These will replace the following transistors, among others:
    2SC458  2SC693  2SC732
    2SC870  2SC871  2SC1000
    2SC1222  2SC1312 2SC1313
    2SC1328  2SC1344 2SC1345
    2SC1400  2SC1708 2SC1735
    2SC1775  2SC1175A 2SC1845 .
    Many vintage Pioneer, Sansui, Marantz, and other brand receivers and amplifiers will develop faint crackling in one or both channels as a result of small transistors going bad, and these brand new Fairchild/Onsemi C1845s are a great way to fix that.  I personally use these in receiver rebuilds, and go through dozens every week.  Please see my pictures for details.
